All the street names, street signs were prefixed with the letters BU.

In Chinese, BU means 'not'.
In Turkish, BU means 'this'.

So everyplace seeing this BU ... BU ... BU ... BU kept me in mind of the Upanishad's classic dictum of via negativa, "neti, neti." (Not this, not this.)

The triangulation from two of Malaysia's three cultures (Chinese, Muslim) thus pointed to the third one (India).

Eventually I "took the hint" and left Malaysia!
